Here you can find imported name brands from the West, as well as products handcrafted in the Philippines, from weaves, baskets, and brassware to hand-embroidered pi~a cloth, wood figurines, and all sorts of custom-made furniture, clothes, wedding gowns, shoes, embroidery items, and many other accessories.
Manila's Makati and Ortigas districts have upscale shops; Ermita has tourist shops and cheap goods. The flea market in Divisoria has great bargains on first-rate goods that cost twice as much at malls. Be prepared to haggle and to wade through rows of hot, sweaty stalls.
